Southern California is full of churches, we know that. Our goal is not to be the biggest church, but to be a church that pleases God. In fact to be a church that pleases God more than people. God’s word has commended us to please Him, while we try to persuade People to repent of their sins and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (Galatians 1:10:  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. )

Many churches even pride themselves in pleasing people. They make it their goal to get the most people, and are even proud of it. Our goal here is to please God and to help people know Him better.

Jesus, himself, taught us that the broad road (the world in general) is heading to destruction, but that the narrow (following Jesus and obeying Him) leads to life. When people really get saved, God changes everything: our values, our hopes, our dreams, and our vision for the future. Miracles still are happening in the world today.
